Vessels of Light: mixed media

The mind is a vessel; a vessel of thoughts, moods, memories, patterns, images, and creativity. This vessel, this mind of ours, is a space, ready for light to fill and give us a moment of cleansing. To honor the WASHI and to bring life to it’s translucency and living energy, I have created these vessels of light. In the smaller wall pieces I used layers of WASHI to denote the depths of our personal journeys, with a touch of gold leaf in the background representing the light centre in us all.
